Our Imperial Majesty hereby establishes as a fifth grade of knighthood in the Order of the Bullmastiff that of Knight or Dame of the Order of the Bullmastiff (post-nominals of KOB/DOB), ranking below that of Knight/Dame of Molossers, and holding a chivalric rank above that of Knight/Dame of the Order of the Crown Princess but below that of Knight/Dame Protector of said order (on the subject of the Order of the Crown Princess, from henceforth the grade of Squire in said order is of the same chivalric rank as Member of the Austenasian Order).
Furthermore, we hereby knight Imani McEwen a Dame of the Order of the Bullmastiff, and Shane Cahill a Knight of the Order of the Bullmastiff.
Furthermore, we hereby abolish the position Officer of the Order of the Bullmastiff. We also remove the requirement for the Mascot of the Order of the Bullmastiff to be descended from CH Ambassador of Buttonoak (b. 3 May 1953); the requirement that they be a bullmastiff remains the same, but whether an individual dog has the necessary pedigree and breeding for this criterion is at the discretion of the Monarch.
Furthermore, we hereby name “Lilly” Carothan Lilly of the Water (b. 27 June 2010), “Rogan” Lil Miss Lady Marmalade of Urbandream (b. 3 March 2006), and “Beau” Shadowguard Maximus (b. 28 June 2008) as Members of the Order of the Bullmastiff.
Furthermore, we hereby remove “Beau” Shadowguard Maximus (b. 28 June 2008) from the list given in our fifteenth Imperial Decree due to an unsatisfactory ability to contact his owners to ascertain whether or not he is still alive. Upon the death of “Edd” Hyerdunscar’s Notorious Edd of Carothan (b. 29 December 2008), he shall be automatically and immediately be replaced as Mascot of the Order of the Bullmastiff by “Lilly” Carothan Lilly of the Water (b. 27 June 2010), or, should she no longer be alive, by “Rogan” Lil Miss Lady Marmalade of Urbandream (b. 3 March 2006), the latter of whom shall automatically and immediately replace the former as Mascot should the former become Mascot and die when the latter is still alive, or the incumbent Mascot should he be predeceased by Carothan Lilly of the Water and still be alive when he dies. Should, under these provisions, the Mascot of the Order of the Bullmastiff die and there be no living heir to the position and no bullmastiff with suitable connections to the Empire and/or Imperial Family to be named Mascot, then an Honorary Mascot of the Order of the Bullmastiff may be appointed by the Monarch. An Honorary Mascot of the Order of the Bullmastiff shall only be appointed when the position of Mascot is empty and no appropriate bullmastiff can be found to fill it; however, an Honorary Mascot must be a dog, thereby at least sharing ancestry with bullmastiffs. The appointment of an Honorary Mascot is for life, and only one can be appointed at a time, but if a suitable bullmastiff is found during the term of an Honorary Mascot, they may be appointed as such, the terms of a Mascot and Honorary Mascot thereby overlapping.
