austenasia.org is the only official website of the Empire of Austenasia.

All official websites of the Empire of Austenasia can be found on the austenasia.org domain. Viewer discretion is advised to any other websites claiming to represent the Empire of Austenasia, as they spread a false narrative of the Emperor Aggelos I being deposed by Andrew Musgrave (also known as Andrew Creed), and historically were used to host problematic content.

Any references to a so-called “Commonwealth of Austenasia”, or an “Empire of Austenasia” led by Johannes Karl or Andrew Musgrave, refer to a breakaway entity established by a former official using assets belonging to the Austenasian government without consent or permission.

The old site at austenasia.com does not display correct information about the Empire and is considered deprecated until further notice. For all legal purposes, the “Commonwealth” or the “Empire of Austenasia” described on their sites does not exist as a representative voice of Austenasia. Austenasia.org is the ONLY officially endorsed site for news and information on the Empire, which derives its legitimacy from the people of Austenasia.

Hello, I’m Jonathan Austen, the Founder and the former Emperor of Austenasia. I reigned over the Empire from 2013 to 2024, so as all of you, anyone watching this channel is probably relatively familiar with myself, my relation to the Empire of Austenasia, and my history regarding it.

I’m making this video today as part update, part reflection, and part warning in reaction to some recent events that have gone on within the Empire of Austenasia this week just gone.

First, on the 3rd of June, on Tuesday-Tuesday, yes, Tuesday the 3rd of June-we had a bit of a crisis within official government channels. The former Prime Minister, Lord Andrew Musgrave, attempted to coup the government. He attempted to dissolve Parliament on his own authority, which is completely unlawful, and he also attempted to dethrone the Emperor, Emperor Aggelos.

Neither of these attempts were successful. He was then voted out of Parliament by a vote of no confidence, and so he is no longer the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister is once again Lord John Gordon, who has my full support, full trust, and who has served as Prime Minister twice before.

Lord Gordon, and of course Emperor Aggelos, have the full support of the nation, of the government. Every member of Parliament has voted in support of their continued administration.

The problem is that before Andrew was kicked out for trying to coup the government, he had made it so that some of our official channels were under his ownership. So Andrew actually bought an internet server, and on that server is now hosted austenasia.com.

He is now using that website to push forward claims that his coup was successful, that he now runs something called the Commonwealth of Austenasia, and that he is now somehow the legitimate leader of the Empire.

This is just a message from myself as probably the most well-known, dare I say trusted, public face of Austenasia and its legacy, just to clarify that the “Commonwealth” of Austenasia is Andrew. That’s all it is. It doesn’t exist.

The Empire of Austenasia continues to exist as it has done for sixteen and a half years now, more than that in fact. We have physically administered, or at least physically visited, land claims right across the world, about 150 people, government functioning with a dozen, fifteen, twenty people, depends how you count it.

All that’s going on right now: Parliament was not dissolved. They’re currently meeting. In fact, they’re currently tabling legislation. The Emperor was not deposed. Emperor Aggelos remains in power over Austenasia, recognised as such by the entire Empire.

The only place where the so-called Commonwealth exists is in Andrew’s own hometown, in his claim, which is a piece of farmland that doesn’t even have anyone living on it. That’s the only claim that recognises Andrew’s claims, and that’s because it is just Andrew. It’s one person.

Which really leads me on to just thinking about how that works, because in this day and age we’re all aware of the danger of misinformation and so-called fake news. But it’s quite interesting to see this happen in real time, where because one person happens to own a website, they can then spin the narrative in opposition to the vast majority of everyone.

As I say, this is one person against roughly 150, and yet because he owns austenasia.com there may be some confusion regarding what’s actually happening.

So this is on the official Austenasia YouTube channel, always has been, back since 2009 I want to say. So there should be no confusion, no misconception. This is an official statement by the Founder of Austenasia, with authority from the Prime Minister representing the Senate, just to clarify:

Emperor Aggelos is still the Emperor.

Lord John Gordon is the Prime Minister.

Parliament has voted unanimously to expel Lord Andrew Musgrave.

The “Commonwealth” of Austenasia is a fiction.

The Empire still exists and will do for many, many more years to come.

Since I stepped down, I realized that things haven’t necessarily gone where I thought they may have done in some ways, but in many ways I’m very proud of what’s been achieved without my direct oversight.

I am quite happy for things to continue under Emperor Aggelos and Lord Gordon, their new government now. They’re working together, because that was the problem before. Andrew was not getting along with the Emperor, he was not getting along with most of Parliament, and that was really the underlying reason for this crisis which blew up at the start of the week.

Now Andrew is gone, everyone seems to be working together a lot better. There’s far more cohesion, far more unity, far more happiness, frankly. Group calls, chats going on in the servers-everyone just seems a lot happier, a lot more relaxed. Everything’s being productive and unified. It’s really quite nice to see.

So I’m happy to leave Austenasia like that. I may not return again, but if I do, it will be at the request of the sitting government or the Throne.

So yes, just a quick message from me. I say quick-it’s what, five minutes now? Sorry, I thought this would be a lot shorter.

But yes, just to clarify, austenasia.com is no longer under control of Austenasia itself. We’re now using, for the time being at least, austenasia.wordpress.com, the old website which we still have before Andrew tried to move it over.

Also, in terms of news output, he’s also unfortunately taken over the Austenasian Times website, the new one at least. We still do have the old one, which I think is austenasiantimes.wordpress.com.

If you email austenasiapm@gmx.com, which was the official email for fifteen years or so, you’ll get the same response: the Empire exists, the Commonwealth does not.

And that’s the same on our Facebook group as well, which has about a thousand members-950, something like that, I think.

So yes, just for clarity there: the Empire still exists, the Commonwealth does not.
