# Diplomabear returns home after 15 years

After 15 years, Diplomabear has finally returned home to the site of the former Federation of Egtavia, associated with former titan the Federal Republic of St.Charlie.

The tour began all the way back in 2012 when Petya D'Egtavie sent the bear to Landashir as part of an Egtavian diplomatic initiative, and began to make its way around the world, including a brief stay in Molossia during the first year of the initiative. Diplomabear was adopted by the GUM, and continued for a further 9 years, coming to an end after a failed sortie in Romania, and triggering an international incident within the Würtige Empire after travelling without a passport.

Austenasia has been a regular destination for Diplomabear, who visited there in 2012, [2018](https://austenasia.org/2018/06/26/diplomabear-arrives-in-wrythe-austenasian-times/),  an extended holiday in 2020, and recently returned earlier this year for a last hurrah around the globe.

[Lord Jonathan and Empress Hannah took Diplomabear to visit the landmarks of Paris ](https://austenasia.org/2026/02/21/diplomabear-to-make-final-tour/)— even bumping into Ciprian of Juclandia, founder of one of the earliest known Romanian micronations.

Diplomabear then passed on to Lord Terry, who brought our weary traveller across the planet to Thailand.

After having a last final adventure, Diplomabear made his way to the diplomatic residence of the Austenasian Envoy to Portsmouth, where he awaited his lift home back to the former site of Egtavia on the 12th.
