The sixth highest medal is the Environmental Star, (ES) awarded for outstanding conservation of the environment. Those who have been awarded an Environmental Star have the title Forename Surname, ES. [This law has been changed – see Act 126, Law 3]
Act 6, Law 4 is hereby repealed. There are two orders of chivalry (types of knighthoods). They are the Austenasian Order and the Order of the Bullmastiff. [This law has been changed – see Act 56]
The knighthoods that can be received from the Austenasian Order are thus: [This law has been changed – see Act 56]
The highest is the Royal Knight of the Austenasian Order (RKA). The female equivalent is the Royal Dame of the Austenasian Order (RDA). [This law has been changed – see Act 47, Law 2]
The second highest is the Knight Commander of the Austenasian Order (KCA). The female equivalent is the Dame Commander of the Austenasian Order (DCA).
The third highest is the Commander of the Austenasian Order (CAO).
The fourth highest is the Officer of the Austenasian Order (OAO).
The fifth highest is the Member of the Austenasian Order (MAO).
The knighthoods that can be received from the Order of the Bullmastiff are thus: [This law has been changed – see Act 56]
The highest is the Knight/Dame of Carothan. There must be a Knight of Carothan and a Dame of Carothan whenever possible. There can only be two people with this knighthood.
The second highest is the Knight/Dame of Rose. There must be at least one Knight of Rose and at least one Dame of Rose whenever possible. There can only be three people with this knighthood.
The third highest is the Knight/Dame of Bramarley. There must be a Knight of Bramarley and a Dame of Bramarley whenever possible. There can only be two people with this knighthood.
The fourth highest is the Knight/Dame of Molossers. There must be at least one Knight of Molossers and at least one Dame of Molossers whenever possible. There can only be five people with this knighthood.
The Order of the Bullmastiff is a higher order of chivalry than the Austenasian Order. [This law has been changed – see Act 56]
The Order of the Bullmastiff is to have a Mascot, chosen by the Emperor. Once the Mascot has been chosen, another dog cannot become Mascot until that Mascot dies. The Mascot must be:
A bullmastiff.
Proven to be descended from Champion Ambassador of Buttonoak (born 3/5/1953).
The first Mascot of the Order of the Bullmastiff is to be Bramarley Paloma of Carothan (“Rose”). When she dies, the next mascot will be chosen by the Emperor according to Law 6 of this same Act.
Knights of the Order of the Bullmastiff have the title Sir Surname, Knight of Carothan/Rose/Bramarley/Molossers (they may alternatively choose to be called Sir Surname, KOC/KOR/KOB/KOM).
Dames of the Order of the Bullmastiff have the title Dame Surname of Carothan/Rose/Bramarley/Molossers (they may alternatively choose to be called Dame Surname, DOC/DOR/DOB/DOM).
The Emperor/Empress is also a member of the Order of the Bullmastiff. He/she is known as the Sovereign of the Bullmastiff, but only within the Order and does not add this title to his/her name, so it does not contradict Act 36, Law 2.
Dogs can become Members or Officers of the Order of the Bullmastiff as long as they are not already the Mascot – the Mascot is higher than an Officer, and Officers are higher than Members. However, they must be chosen by the Emperor and must be bullmastiffs.
Only those who can be proven to be descended from Champion Ambassador of Buttonoak (born 3/5/1953) can become Officers of the Order of the Bullmastiff.
