Aware of the discrimination faced by little people, and given that the word “midget” is increasingly regarded to be pejorative, we have resolved to remove the instances of said word from its use in official contexts within Austenasia where possible. Since 2011 the Empire of Austenasia has been the successor state of the Midget Nation-in-Exile, but the titles still used as a result of such may lead to confusion or offence from people who are unaware of the history of the Midget Nation and its lack of any relation to little people.
We therefore decree that, effective as of midnight on the morning of 1 January 2020: the title of Second and Sixth Midget Master shall no longer be included within our full style and titles; the office of Midget Master will be merged with and subsumed entirely by the throne of Rushymia; Centuria II Midgetae will be renamed to Centuria II Ruscimiae and given standing orders to defend Rushymia, and Midget Fuhrer Thomas shall take up the far more suitable and conventional title of Centurion to refer to his position as such.
The Midget Nation-in-Exile, in so far as it continued to exist as a distinct entity following its annexation, is to be considered to have been merged with the Kingdom of Rushymia, which will function as the sole manifestation of the Rushy Meadow heritage of the Carshalton Nations.
