The Purpose of this Act is to annex Dekker as a Crown Dependency of the Empire.

By the request and with the consent of the owner and residents of the land, the property of 14108 Meadow Grove Drive, Texas is hereby annexed from the United States of America by and to the Empire of Austenasia as North Tarrant, and the area locally known as South Tarrant (that is, the site of the former natural gas well accessible via Bates Aston Road, together with the immediately adjacent forested area and the small area of grassland leading to it from the junction of Meadow Grove Drive with Aston Way) is also hereby annexed from the United States of America by and to the Empire of Austenasia, as South Tarrant. North Tarrant and South Tarrant together comprise the Crown Dependency of Dekker.

Patrick-Dylan Knox is hereby appointed Governing Commissioner of Dekker, to administer Dekker in the name of the Monarch. The Monarch holds absolute and unlimited authority over Dekker, exercised by the Governing Commissioner only with the consent of the Monarch. Although it is under Austenasian sovereignty, Acts of Parliament, Imperial Decrees and Imperial Edicts shall not apply to Dekker unless it is made explicit in said legislation that they do so. The domestic governance of Dekker is the responsibility of its Governing Commissioner, who can be replaced (or the office abolished) by Imperial Decree or Imperial Edict.
