Act 1, Law 3, Paragraph C is hereby repealed. If there is no child of the Emperor/Empress to inherit the throne, then it will next pass to the husband or wife. [As a change to the Constitution, this law has been passed in accordance with Act 1, Law 12]. [This law has been changed – see Act 50, Law 1]
Act 6, Law 10 is hereby repealed. The Emperor/Empress cannot receive honours. When the Heir to the Throne becomes Emperor/Empress, all titles granted under Laws 14 and 15 of Act 34 will be removed.
Act 13, Law 2 is hereby repealed. If that person has not been exiled (see Act 29, Law 9, Paragraph A), then anyone who wishes to enter the Empire of Austenasia must be allowed to do so unless the borders of Austenasia have been closed (see Act 35, Law 5, Paragraph D). [This law has been changed – see Act 83, Law 1]
Act 29, Law 10, Paragraph A is hereby repealed. Even if there is sufficient evidence to prove that he/she did it, the defendant can defend themselves by claiming that the crime was done under duress – if the criminal was forced to commit the crime under threat. In order for duress to qualify as a valid defence, then the defendant must prove that the threat was of immediate harm and that the harm threatened was greater than the harm caused by the crime. (The person who put the defendant under duress must then be found, arrested and tried for the crime instead.)
