Act 1, Law 3 and Act 36, Law 1 are hereby repealed. The line of succession to the throne of Austenasia after the Emperor’s death, abdication or removal from the throne is thus (each starting with eldest): [This law has been changed – see Act 86, Law 1]

Act 1, Law 5 is hereby repealed. The Emperor cannot run for Prime Minister. If the Prime Minister inherits the throne, then he/she may either remain as Prime Minister and refuse the throne (in which case it will pass to the next in line to the throne) or become Emperor, in which case the Crown Prince/Princess will briefly become Prime Minister until the next election. [As a change to the Constitution, this law has been passed in accordance with Act 1, Law 12] [This law has been changed – see Act 74, Law 9]
If someone in line to the throne refuses it, then it will count as abdication (see Act 24, Law 3). [This law has been changed – see Act 108, Law 1]
If the Prime Minister becomes Regent, then he/she will lose the office of Prime Minister, which will be held by the Crown Prince/Princess until the next election. [This law has been changed – see Act 74, Law 9]
Act 31, Law 1 is hereby repealed. A Vote of No Confidence can be held by the Prime Minister and Cabinet at any Parliament meeting that they wish. A Vote of No Confidence is treated like an Act being passed, but more than 75% of the Cabinet must vote for it and the Emperor doesn’t have to give Imperial Consent. Act 17, Law 2 is hereby repealed. People may only be removed from the line of succession if the Emperor, Prime Minister and more than 80% of the Cabinet vote for them to be removed. They can also be restored to the list by the same means. [This law has been changed – see Act 74, Law 4]
