Since no bullmastiff with suitable connections to the Empire or Imperial Family has been found since the death of Lily one month ago, in accordance with the provisions of Our Imperial Majesty’s twenty fifth Imperial Decree (issued 17 April 2016) we hereby appoint Cleo (b. 26 February 2011), the Border Collie-German Shepherd cross resident at Wandleside Place, Beddington, as Honorary Mascot of the Order of the Bullmastiff. She will not lose the position of Honorary Mascot should an appropriate bullmastiff be found and appointed Mascot proper during her lifetime.
