In accordance with the Fifth Imperial Edict of HIM Emperor Declan I, Act 153 (Coats of Arms and other National Symbols) has the legislative authority of an Imperial Edict, being reaffirmed by said Imperial Edict of our predecessor after having been repealed by the enactment of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011.
Effective as of our ascension to the Throne, our imperial person no longer uses as a heraldic banner that granted by Act 154, Law 7, Paragraph A, but uses the Imperial Standard in our capacity as head of state of Austenasia.
HIH Emperor Father Terry shall keep as his heraldic banner that granted by Act 154, Law 7, Paragraph H. In accordance with Law 5, Paragraph C of said Act, HIH Emperor Mother Margaret shall keep as her heraldic banner that granted by Law 7, Paragraph G of said Act.
In accordance with Act 154, Law 5, Paragraph F, we grant our predecessor HM King Declan I of New Wessex – known as HIM Emperor Declan I when he held the Throne – as his personal standard the Imperial Standard defaced with a label sable of five points (the second and fourth point having a laurel wreath and the third point having a heart gules as brisures) and with a laurel wreath as used in the Coat of Arms of the Empire of Austenasia as an emblem in the centre of the standard.
In accordance with Act 154, Law 5, Paragraph D, we grant our grandmother HIH Emperor Grandmother Joyce as her personal standard the Imperial Standard defaced with a label azure of five points, the second and fourth points each having a bezant and the third point having a lion sejant or as brisures.
