XLI Jon. I 2015 (Heraldic Authority)

1. The purpose of this Act is to establish the King of Arms as the heraldic authority of the Empire of Austenasia.

2. The office of King of Arms is hereby created.

3. The King of Arms has the jurisdiction to record, grant, recognise, regulate and deny usage of blazons and heraldic depictions.

4. The King of Arms has the jurisdiction to appoint up to three Officers of Arms, heraldic advisors to assist the King of Arms in disputes over and matters concerning blazons and heraldry should they need their assistance.

5. The King of Arms and Officers of Arms may use as the official uniform of their post a tabard quartered with the Arms of Austenasia, and their personal arms.

6. The King of Arms must appoint at least three heraldic sub-officers of arms, to be known as Heralds, who shall be responsible for recording and reporting usage of arms and blazonry to the King of Arms. Heralds may use as the official uniform of their post a tabard quartered with the arms of Austenasia and the arms of their Austenasian Town.

7. Should there be a dispute over the usage of a specific heraldry and blazon between two parties, the King of Arms will call a proposed meeting between themselves and the Officers of Arms to resolve the matter. When gathered together in this capacity, the heraldic officers are known as the Council of Arms.

8. All decisions and conclusions reached by the King of Arms and by the Council of Arms are lawful and legitimate.

9. The King of Arms is appointed by the Monarch every year.

10. The King of Arms shall register all granted and reported arms in a record titled the Book of Arms, and register all register all heraldic disputes in a record titled the Book of Heraldic Matters.

XLII Jon I. 2015 (Extraordinary Bestowals of Subjectship)

1. The Purpose of this Act is to make Martin O’Sullivan, MAO and Graham Easton subjects of Austenasia.

2. In accordance with Article III, Section B, Paragraph D of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011, the status of subject is hereby granted by Parliament to Martin O’Sullivan, MAO and to Graham Easton of 123 Frederick Road, Sutton, by the request of said individuals.

3. The Monarch is hereby granted full consent by Parliament to grant by public declaration before 4 March 2015 the status of subject on its behalf to up to any two persons nominated for such by HIH Lord Dux Joseph Kennedy, Count of Greater Richmond who wish to gain said status.

4. In accordance with Decree IX Jon. I, those granted the status of subjects under Paragraphs 2 or 3 of this same Act shall not be required to relinquish any other citizenship or nationality held.
