The purpose of this act shall layout the foundation of a national holiday on the date that His Imperial Majesty and the Princess Consort were officially engaged.

The date of the national holiday shall be 5th September.

The holiday shall be observed by all Austenasian towns, cities and territories.

The day shall be known as Imperial Engagement Day.
