The Purpose of this Act is to enable a person other than the Chief Ambassador to hold the office of Ambassador to the United Kingdom, to lay out the way in which embassies are to be established, and to revoke recognition of St.Charlie, as well as to approve the Imperial Decrees of HIM Emperor Jonathan I numbered XXVII to XXVIII.
-
Paragraph 2 of XXVII Jon. I 2014 (Diplomacy) is hereby amended; the position of Austenasian Ambassador to the United Kingdom shall no longer automatically be held ex officio by the Chief Ambassador, but be held by a suitable individual appointed as such by the Monarch, Prime Minister, or Chief Ambassador.
-
Embassies and consulates may be claimed for the Empire by the Chief Ambassador, with the consent of the Monarch. The Empire claims diplomatic immunity and extraterritoriality for its embassies and consulates, which shall be administered by the diplomat stationed there.
-
Due to the inability of the St.Charlian government to continue to function to the extent necessary to exercise sovereignty, the Empire of Austenasia hereby revokes any and all recognition of the Federal Republic of St.Charlie as a sovereign state upon its effective dissolution.
-
As an addendum, in accordance with Article IV, Section D, Paragraph C of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011, the House of Representatives hereby grants its approval and consent to the Imperial Decrees of HIM Emperor Jonathan I numbered XXVII and XXVIII (decreed on 29 November and 22 December 2016), thereby making them permanent law.
