II Dec. I 2011 (Protectorate of Domanglia)

The Empire of Austenasia hereby recognises the Federal Republic of Domanglia as a sovereign state, independent from the United Kingdom. Their sovereignty is recognised over all land that they both control and claim.

By the request and with the consent of the government of the Federal Republic of Domanglia, the status that the Federal Republic of Domanglia holds as a Protectorate of the Empire of Austenasia is hereby confirmed and recognised to have existed since 31 October 2011. [This paragraph has been changed – see XIII Dec. I 2012, Paragraph 3]

1. The Ministry of Defence is hereby given control of the organisation and maintenance of the defence of Domanglia, and given responsibility to ensure that Domanglia is militarily equipped and prepared for both domestic unrest and foreign invasion, in the interest of the safety of its people and stability of its government.

2. The Foreign Office is hereby given control of the foreign affairs of Domanglia, and given responsibility to establish and maintain diplomatic relations with foreign countries.

3. The Federal Republic of Domanglia shall retain full sovereignty and domestic autonomy under the leadership of Sarah Crannis, Dominic Crannis, and their legitimate successors.

In regards to Subsection B of Paragraph 2 of this same Act, recognition of sovereignty by the Federal Republic of Domanglia does not automatically constitute recognition of sovereignty by the Empire of Austenasia, and vice versa.
