The purpose of this act is to create a system for Austenasian subjects to change their given name, and for that change to be recognized by Austenasian law.
-
Subjects within the Empire of Austenasia will hereby be able to fill an application to the Home Office of the Empire of Austenasia, giving the reasoning behind their seeking a name change.
-
To receive a name change, subjects must list the date, their address, their current name (as in the name given to them by their parents, or the name recognized by the law within their country of birth), as well as list in at least one paragraph why they wish to have their name changed. This must be written out and sent to the Home Office.
-
The Home Secretary will review the application. Should the application be accepted, the subject’s name will be officially changed and the subject will be informed at the Home Secretary’s soonest convenience.
