Act 73 (Ratification of International Treaties)

The Empire of Austenasia hereby ratifies the following treaties: [This law has been added to – see Act 104, Law 6]

The Montevideo Convention on the Rights and Duties of States (signed on 26^th December 1933).

The Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations (passed on 13^th February 1946).

The Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (signed on 9^th December 1948).

The Convention on Transit Trade of Land-locked States (signed 8^th July 1965).

The International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (adopted on 21^st December 1965)

The Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties (signed 23^rd May 1969).

The Convention on the Rights of the Child (signed 20^th November 1989).

The Second Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, aiming at the abolition of the death penalty (adopted on 15^th December 1989).

The Convention on the Safety of United Nations and Associated Personnel (adopted on 9^th December 1994)

The Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (signed on 10^th September 1996).

The International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism (opened for signature on 10^th January 2000)

WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (signed on 21^st May 2003).

The United Nations Convention on Jurisdictional Immunities of States and their Property (opened for signature on 17^th January 2005).

The International Convention for the Suppression of Acts of Nuclear Terrorism (adopted on 13^th April 2005).

The Secretary-General will ensure that all the conditions of these treaties are met.
