The wife of the Crown Prince will have the title HIH Crown Princess Forename, and the husband of the Crown Princess will have the title HIH Crown Prince Forename. [This law has been changed – see Act 104, Law 3]
The unmarried partner of the Emperor will have the title HIH Princess Companion Forename, and the unmarried partner of the Empress will have the title HIH Prince Companion Forename. [This law has been changed – see Act 86, Law 4]
If the Emperor does not have an unmarried partner, then the unmarried partner of the Crown Prince will have the title HIH Princess Companion Forename. If he does, then she will have the title HIH Princess Forename. [This law has been changed – see Act 86, Law 4]
If the Empress does not have an unmarried partner, then the unmarried partner of the Crown Princess will have the title HIH Prince Companion Forename. If she does, then he will have the title HIH Prince Forename. [This law has been changed – see Act 86, Law 4]
