Insofar as the Committees and Budgets Act 2020 has set out the requirement for a budget to be approved at the beginning of each fiscal year, which will detail the Treasury’s financial situation and governmental spending plans, it is therefore required for a fiscal year to be statutorily defined. Our Imperial Majesty therefore decrees that the fiscal year in Austenasia shall start each Ecclesiastical New Year on the first day of September.
Fiscal years may be referred to in either the Anno Mundi or Anno Domini calendar, but will include the indiction. Exempli gratia, the next fiscal year will be that of 7530 or 2021-22, the fifteenth indiction.
Furthermore, in accordance with Paragraph 10 of the Empire of Austenasia Act 2019 and Paragraph 5 of the Nobles Act 2020, we hereby grant the previously vacant title Duke of Dixie to HM King Cameron I of Ikonia in recognition of his friendship with our country.
Decreed at Chester this nineteenth day of November during the eighth year of our reign, in the year of the consulship of Hannah Augusta and Brenda Bargerii Nova Richmondiae Domina, anno mundi 7529, and during the imperium of Our own Imperial Majesty, Quentin I, Naruhito, Adam I, Aikaterini I and Stamatios I.
