The Imperial Air Force (IAF), as disbanded by Act 116, Law 5, is hereby reformed. It comprises the Austenasian Armed Forces, along with the Austenasian Army.

The Ministry of Defence will direct and fund the Imperial Air Force, which shall be led by the Air Chief Marshal.

The Air Chief Marshal shall be a member of the War Council.

The purpose of the Imperial Air Force is to support the Ministry of Defence and Austenasian Army in providing for the security and defence of the Empire, and when appropriate to support the Empire’s foreign policy objectives (particularly in promoting international peace and security).

The title Air Chief Marshal of the Imperial Air Force, currently held by the Monarch, is hereby changed to Marshal of the Imperial Air Force. The Monarch is the ceremonial head of the Imperial Air Force.

The Air Chief Marshal has complete command over the Imperial Air Force, and is free to structure the IAF however they wish, including the rank hierarchy, with the consent of the Prime Minister.

The Air Chief Marshal shall be appointed and dismissed by the War Council.

The first Air Chief Marshal shall be Tribune Sir Micheal Mitchell, KPP.
