The purpose of this Act is to reduce the number of seats in the House of Representatives to improve legislative efficiency by ceding those Towns which rarely vote, to provide for the future appointment and dismissal of Margraves and Margravines, and to permit the Monarch to unilaterally grant non-residential subjectship to non-Austenasian Augustae, Caesars, and members of the Imperial Family.

With the consent of its Representative and population, the Town of Zephyria is hereby dissolved. The territory which comprised the Town of Zephyria is hereby ceded to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, although the Empire reserves the right to reassume sovereignty over said land should such be in accordance with the wishes of its population, and/or if the British government proves incapable of governing it. The population of Zephyria, despite now no longer being residents of the Empire, shall retain their subjectship.

The title Baron of Zephyria held by Lord Marshal William Kingsnorth, Baron of Zephyria shall from henceforth no longer be a title of Nobility but is hereby granted rather as a Peerage, albeit with the holder of said Peerage holding all related styles and titles as if a Baroness or Baron of Nobility. The office of Representative of Zephyria is hereby dissolved, but any and all other Austenasian titles, offices and positions held by the former residents of Zephyria shall be retained.

With the consent of its Representative and population, the Town of Thanasia is hereby dissolved; the residents and subjects of Thanasia are hereby divested of their status as such and of all Austenasian nationality, but are hereby granted Honorary Subjectship. The territory which comprised the Town of Thanasia is hereby ceded to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, although the Empire reserves the right to reassume sovereignty over said land should such be in accordance with the wishes of its population, and/or if the British government proves incapable of governing it.

The title Baroness of Thanasia held by Lady Strawberry Easton, Baroness of Thanasia shall from henceforth no longer be a title of Nobility but is hereby granted rather as a Peerage, albeit with the holder of said Peerage holding all related styles and titles as if a Baroness or Baron of Nobility. Any and all other Austenasian titles, offices and positions held by the former subjects of Thanasia are hereby honourably withdrawn and revoked.

Upon their direct link to Austenasia being broken with the cession of Thanasia, the non-residential subjectships of Martin O’Sullivan, MAO and of Graham Easton as granted by XLII Jon I. 2015 (Extraordinary Bestowals of Subjectship) are hereby withdrawn.

Due to the inability of the Austenasian government to make contact with the Representative or population of Porthbokon, the Town of Porthbokon, the Province of Greater Porthbokon, and the Duchy of Dumnonia are hereby dissolved; the Nobility of said administrative divisions is hereby abolished, with the Landed Noble titles connected to said administrative divisions hereby dissolved. The residents and subjects of Porthbokon are hereby divested of their status as such and of all Austenasian nationality, and any and all Austenasian titles, offices and positions held by the former subjects and residents of Porthbokon are hereby honourably withdrawn and revoked. The territory which comprised the Town of Porthbokon is hereby ceded to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, although the Empire reserves the right to reassume sovereignty over said land should such be in accordance with the wishes of its population, and/or if the British government proves incapable of governing it.

Upon the death or resignation of a Margrave or Margravine, the Representative of the Town to which said March belongs shall appoint a replacement with the consent of the Prime Minister. Likewise, a Margrave or Margravine may be removed from office by the Representative of the Town to which said March belong with the consent of the Prime Minister.

In accordance with Article III, Section B, Paragraph D of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011, permission is hereby granted to the Monarch by Parliament to grant the status of subject by public declaration to any applicant Augusta, Caesar, or member of the Imperial Family and/or Line of Succession. Those granted the status of subjects in said manner – in accordance with Decree IX Jon. I – shall not be required to relinquish any other citizenship held.
