The Purpose of this Act is to approve the Imperial Decrees of HIM Emperor Jonathan I numbered XXII to XXIII.

In accordance with Article IV, Paragraph D, Subsection C of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011, the House of Representatives hereby grants its approval and consent to the Imperial Decrees of HIM Emperor Jonathan I numbered XXII to XXIII (decreed on 26 October 2015), thereby making them permanent law.

In accordance with the second paragraph of Decree XXII Jon. I, in regards to Article XII, Section Q of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011, it is hereby decided and specified by Parliament that no person under the age of sixteen years may marry.

In accordance with the second paragraph of Decree XXIII Jon. I, Subsections 12 and 19 of the first part of the Fifth Imperial Decree of HIM Emperor Declan I is hereby repealed.

Any and all recognition of the so-called Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as a sovereign state and/or nation is hereby withdrawn, and its claimed territory recognised as being under the sovereignty of the Republic of Cyprus. This is done on the basis of the treaty obligations of the Empire of Austenasia in regards to Article 11 of the Montevideo Convention on the Rights and Duties of States (ratified by Austenasia on 28 November 2012), specifically “not to recognize territorial acquisitions… which have been obtained by force”.

Any and all recognition of the so-called Republic of Kosovo as a sovereign state and/or nation is hereby withdrawn, and its claimed territory recognised as being under the sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia. In regards to Article 6 of the Montevideo Convention on the Rights and Duties of States, the Empire denies that the so-called Republic of Kosovo was ever a state – as its claims are recognised as being under Serbian sovereignty – and that the recognition given by HIM Emperor Declan I in his Fifth Imperial Decree was therefore invalid, with it also recognising the sovereignty of Serbia without explicitly excepting its claims to Kosovo.
