The purpose of this Act is to enact the twenty two amendments proposed to the Austenasian Constitution of 2011 by the Decree of Wrythe and to approve the Imperial Decree of HIM Emperor Jonathan I numbered XXI, that is, the Decree of Wrythe.

In accordance with Article IV, Paragraph D, Subsection C of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011, the House of Representatives hereby grants its approval and consent to the twenty first Imperial Decree of HIM Emperor Jonathan I, the Decree of Wrythe (decreed 10 August 2015), thereby making it permanent law.

In accordance with Decree XXI Jon. I, a referendum was held on 31 August 2015 by which all subjects were given the chance on whether or not to accept the First Amendment to the Austenasian Constitution of 2011. Thirty four out of forty nine subjects – that is, over half – voted “Yes” to the First Amendment to the Austenasian Constitution of 2011.

Now that over half of the subjects of Austenasia have approved the First Amendment to the Austenasian Constitution of 2011, the consent of over 80% of the House of Representatives and of the Monarch is needed to bring it into force in accordance with Article II, Section E of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011. It is hereby confirmed that the granting of Imperial Consent to this same Act signifies the consent of the Monarch to the First Amendment to the Austenasian Constitution of 2011, and that over 80% of the House of Representatives have signified their support for the same by supporting the passage of this same Act.

In accordance with Decree XXI Jon. I, the First Amendment to the Austenasian Constitution of 2011 shall come into force at one second past midnight on the morning of Sunday 20 September 2015.

All future references to the Austenasian Constitution of 2011 shall be taken, unless specified to the contrary, as including the First Amendment to said Constitution.
