The purpose of this Act is to cede Oregonia to the United States of America alongside the secession of New Virginia, as well as to approve Decree XLIII Jon. I.

In regards to Paragraph 12 of CXXVIII Jon. I 2020 (New Virginia), immediately upon the creation of the Commonwealth of New Virginia, the Crown Dependency of Oregonia will be ceded to the United States of America due to the inability of its Governing Commissioner to exercise satisfactory levels of control over it.

The position of HM King Adam I of Überstadt as an Austenasian subject is hereby honourably revoked.

As an addendum, in accordance with Article IV, Section D, Paragraph C of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011, the House of Representatives hereby grants its approval and consent to the Imperial Decree of HIM Emperor Jonathan I numbered XLIII (decreed on 23 January 2020), thereby making it permanent law.
