  1. The purpose of this Act is to allow for new Austenasian residents with close familial connections to existing residential subjects to be granted the status of a subject upon application to the Home Secretary, and to clarify the status of subjects who emigrate abroad.

  2. In accordance with Paragraph 2 of V Dec. I 2011 (Immigration and Border Controls), any person moving to live permanently in Austenasia must register their residence with the Home Office as soon as possible in order to be added to the Census and receive the status of a resident. If any such new resident qualifies under Paragraph 3 of this same Act, then they may make an application for immediate subjectship in accordance with Paragraph 4 of this same Act.

  3. In regards to Paragraph 2 of this same Act, a new resident qualifies should they fulfil the following qualifications, that they:

    1. are over sixteen years of age;

    2. are the spouse, sibling, or direct ancestor or descendant of an Austenasian subject residing in the same Province; and

    3. they have the approval of said subject that they are related to.

  4. An application for immediate subjectship may be made to and approved by the Home Secretary, or, in urgent circumstances, the Monarch. Upon approval, the applicant resident shall immediately gain the status of a subject.

  5. In regards to Paragraph 6 of LXV Jon. I 2016 (Nationality and Residency), a subject who moves permanently abroad will no longer be considered a resident, but rather a non-residential subject, and will retain subjectship status unless and until it is deprived by an Act of Parliament.
