Act 34, Law 11 is hereby repealed. The Royal Family is from now on known as the Imperial Family.
Every time that the word “Royal” has been used in the previous 46 Acts of the Parliament of Austenasia, it is now replaced by the word “Imperial”.
The medal the Royal Austenasian Red Cross is now known as the Imperial Austenasian Red Cross (IRC).
Royal Consent is henceforth known as Imperial Consent. [As a change to the Constitution, this was passed in accordance with Act 1, Law 12].
The title “HRH” is now “HIH”, standing for His Imperial Highness.
The medal the Royal Star is now known as the Imperial Star.
The knighthood the Royal Knight/Dame of the Austenasian Order is now known as the Imperial Knight/Dame of the Austenasian Order (IKA/IDA).
Act 34, Laws 2 and 3 are hereby repealed. The Emperor (known as Empress if female) has the title HIM Emperor/Empress Forename I/II/III/IV/V/X etc. He/she should be addressed as Your Majesty, and thereafter can be addressed as Sire (or, in the case of an Empress, as Ma’am). [This law has been changed – see Act 127, Law 1]
The Secretary-General is hereby ordered to undertake thorough research into the family tree of the Imperial Family, mostly focusing on the ancestry of HIM Emperor Terry I, and the first holders of the surname “Austen”.
