Residents and subjects of Austenasia are free to cross the border into the United Kingdom.
Unless that person has been exiled (see Act 11, Law 9, Paragraph A), any person who wishes to enter the Empire of Austenasia must be allowed unless Austenasia is at a State of Emergency (see Act 11, Law 7, Paragraph F) or if the Prime Minister or Emperor has ordered so. [This law has been changed – see Act 36, Law 3]
The Department of Residents and Immigration is hereby founded with the purpose to uphold Laws 1 and 2 of Act 13 and to keep a census of all residents of Austenasia. The Minister of Residents and Immigrations, in charge of the Department, will be voted for by the Cabinet out of the Representatives every New Year’s Day.
Any residents which change their name, address, or become a subject must inform the Department of Residents and Immigration so that the census records may be updated.
