In accordance with Section B of Article VI of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011, we hereby give notice of seven weeks that a General Election will take place on 28 February later this year. Until 31 January later this year any Representatives who are willing may request our approval to become Candidates for the General Election, of which we are bound by the Constitution to choose at least two. From 1 February until 28 February, the Candidates may campaign to persuade the subjects of the Empire to vote for them. On 28 February, all subjects willing shall go to ballot stations organised by their respective Town Council to cast a vote for which of the Candidates they wish to be Prime Minister; non-residential subjects shall be contacted by our Imperial Majesty to hand in their vote directly. Votes shall be delivered to and counted by our Imperial Majesty, with the results verified by our Secretary-General. We shall announce the results of the General Election on 1 March 2019, when the Candidate with the highest number of votes shall become Prime Minister, and a Deputy Prime Minister will be chosen and appointed in accordance with Article VI, Section B, Paragraph E of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011.
