Empire of Austenasia

Official Website

I hereby reaffirm Act 153 (Coats of Arms and other National Symbols), passed by Parliament under the Austenasian Constitution of 2008. The national motto of the Empire of Austenasia is, and has been since 15 July 2011, “IMPERATOR ET POPVLVM AVSTENASIAE” – “the Emperor and People of Austenasia”. “IMPERATOR” shall be changed to “IMPERATRIX” (Empress) should there be a female Monarch. IPLA may be used as the initials of this motto.

The Coat of Arms of the Empire of Austenasia are, and have been since 15 July 2011: a quartered shield, depicting in the first and fourth quarters the Austenasian Star, in the second quarter the arms of the British town of Carshalton from which Wrythe declared independence as the Empire of Austenasia, and in the third quarter the Chi-Ro (for historical purposes, signifying that what is now Austenasia was formerly part of the Western Roman Empire, the Chi-Ro being part of the imperial insignia of the late Empire, and for cultural purposes, referring to the large amount of Christians in Austenasia) – the shield is topped by a laurel wreath, referring to the imperial Austenasian Monarchy, and both the dexter and sinister supporters are unicorns (without chains) to represent strength and freedom; below the shield is the Austenasian national motto.

I hereby grant HIH Emperor Mother Michelle as her personal standard the Imperial Standard defaced with a label azure of three points, the first and third points each having a rose as a brisure.

I hereby grant HIH Emperor Grandmother Marjorie as her personal standard the Imperial Standard defaced with a label azure of five points, the second and fourth points each having a rose as a brisure.
