Our Imperial Majesty hereby decrees the following provisions in accordance with Paragraph 3 of the Approval of Imperial Decrees Act 2013.
No Austenasian shall be considered to have committed a crime by becoming a national of another country prior to the date of this decree, even where such was in breach of the law. All Austenasians currently registered as subjects or residents are, by this decree, hereby recognised as being nationals of whichever countries currently recognise their claim to be nationals of such.
There shall be no restrictions on dual citizenship with any member state of the United Nations, the Principality of Wildflower Meadows, the Kingdom of the Grove or the Kingdom of Copan. However, from henceforth, Austenasians may not become nationals, citizens or subjects of any other country without authorisation from the Monarch. This does not apply to citizenships they held prior to becoming Austenasian, and will not apply retrospectively to countries recognised by Austenasia were they not recognised at the point where citizenship was gained. Should an Austenasian be in breach of this decree, their new citizenship shall not be recognised unless by a retrospective authorisation from the Monarch.
Finally, in an addendum unrelated to the rest of this decree, we hereby grant Sir Richard Hytholoday the vacant noble title Count of Maritimae.
