By the request of the Principality of Monovia and with the consent of its military, the Monovish army – consisting of six soldiers, including and commanded by one B. Townsend – is hereby recruited into the Austenasian Army as a century. Said unit shall be known as Centuria III Monoviae, in Cohors I Esmonda, and B. Townsend is hereby appointed its commanding officer with the rank of Centurion.
In accordance with the Second Imperial Decree of HIM Emperor Declan I, under Act 140 (Military Reform) of the Parliament of Austenasia as passed under the Austenasian Constitution of 2008, all centuries are to be aligned with provinces. Centuria III Monoviae is aligned with Greater Wrythe for the purposes of said legislation, but it shall be under standing orders to defend the Principality of Monovia and its government, and shall be based in and around Monovia under the direction of its centurion.
Decreed at Wrythe this thirteenth day of April during the first year of our reign, in the year of the consulship of Carolina Kingsnorthus and Pater Imperatoris Terentius.
