The purpose of this Act is to annex Hoagland as a Territory of Austenasia, as well as to approve the Imperial Decrees of HIM Emperor Jonathan I numbered XXX to XXXIII.

The area of land formerly known as the Free City of Hoogland – that is, the 14,628 square foot area of cleared land directly north of 6945 and 6946 North Renwood Road, Independence, Ohio – is hereby annexed to the Empire of Austenasia by the request and with the consent of its former Stadtholder as the Territory of Hoagland.

The Territory of Hoagland is in the Province of Greater Shineshore.

HE Pope Euclid I is hereby appointed Governor of Hoagland, and, in accordance with Article III, Section B, Paragraph D of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011, the status of subject is hereby granted by Parliament to HE Pope Euclid I.

In regards to Paragraph 9 of LXIV Jon. I 2016 (Empire of Austenasia), this same Act has, as legislation accepting an offer of territory for the Empire, been passed after the land in question was approved for annexation by the process laid out in Paragraphs 7 and 8 of LXIV Jon. I 2016 (Empire of Austenasia).

As an addendum, in accordance with Article IV, Section D, Paragraph C of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011, the House of Representatives hereby grants its approval and consent to the Imperial Decrees of HIM Emperor Jonathan I numbered XXX to XXXIII (decreed between 19 April and 6 July 2017), thereby making them permanent law.
