IV Dec. I 2011 (Era Names)

[This Act has been repealed – see LXXIII Jon. I 2017, Paragraph 6]

1. The Empire of Austenasia shall adopt era names to define certain time periods of its history, which may be used in ceremonial and/or formal circumstances to distinguish between different periods of Austenasian history.

2. The Monarch shall announce the commencement of a new era upon their ascension to the Throne, and may do so with the consent of the Prime Minister subsequently throughout their reign to mark a significant event.

3. The history of the Empire of Austenasia shall be divided into the following eras:

   1. 20 September 2008 – 31 January 2009 is hereby retrospectively designated as the Era of Foundation.

   2. 31 January 2009 – 20 September 2009 is hereby retrospectively designated as the Era of Increasing Glory.

   3. 20 September 2009 – 16 February 2010 is hereby retrospectively designated as the Era of Respected Harmony.

   4. 16 February 2010 – 24 May 2010 is hereby retrospectively designated as the Era of the Consolidation of Imperial Power.

   5. 24 May 2010 – 19 December 2010 is hereby retrospectively designated as the Era of Mighty Imperium.

   6. 19 December 2010 – 31 March 2011 is hereby retrospectively designated as the Era of Joint Imperium

   7. 31 March 2011 – 20 September 2011 is hereby retrospectively designated as the Era of Respected Glory.

   8. The current period of Austenasian history, as having commenced on 20 September 2011, is hereby declared to be the Era of Majestic Imperium.
