I Jon. I 2013 (Ascension)

The Purpose of this Act is to enact the abdication of HIM Emperor Declan I and to pass the Throne to the new Monarch, HIH Crown Prince Jonathan, who shall be known as HIM Emperor Jonathan I.

In accordance with the Declaration of Abdication of HIM Emperor Declan I as made on 20 January 2013, the Monarch has abdicated. In accordance with Article IV, Paragraph G, Sections C and D of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011, HIH Crown Prince Jonathan as Heir to the Throne has not refused the Throne and has thereby become the new Monarch – by granting Imperial Consent to this same Act, he hereby confirms this.

In accordance with Article IV, Paragraph G, Section E of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011, all Austenasian titles and offices are hereby removed from HIM Emperor Declan I.

In accordance with Paragraphs A and B of Article IV of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011:

1. HIH Crown Prince Jonathan will from henceforth be known as HIM Emperor Jonathan I, with the secondary title of Imperator Caesar Jonathan Augustus.

2. HIH Princess Caroline will from henceforth be known as HIH Crown Princess Caroline.

3. Tribune Sir Terry Austen, KCJ will from henceforth be known as HIH Emperor Father Terry.

4. Lady Margaret Austen, Baroness of Glencrannog, DHJ, DOR, DPP will from henceforth be known as HIH Emperor Mother Margaret.

5. Dame Joyce Boxall, DCA will from henceforth be known as HIH Emperor Grandmother Joyce.

HIM Emperor Jonathan I hereby gains the titles and offices of King of Rushymia, Second and Sixth Midget Master, Sovereign of the Glorious Order of St. John, Sovereign of the Order of the Bullmastiff, Sovereign of the Austenasian Order, Marshal of the Imperial Air Force, Grand Admiral of the Imperial Navy, Crown Steward of Imperial Wrythe, Commander of the Quiet Area, and Theocrat of Atkantia.

In accordance with Article VI, Paragraph C, Sections E and F of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011, HIM Emperor Jonathan I shall be considered to have been immediately deprived of the office and powers of Prime Minister upon his ascension to the Throne. Lord Marshal William Kingsnorth, Baron of Zephyria is hereby appointed Acting Prime Minister.

In accordance with Article IV, Paragraph F, Section E of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011, the Counsellors of State are at present Lord Marshal William Kingsnorth, Baron of Zephyria; HIH Crown Princess Caroline; HIH Princess Christine; HIH Princess Louise; and HIH Lord Calum, Duke of the Grove.

It is hereby confirmed and declared that HIM Emperor Jonathan I is the successor of HIM Emperor Declan I, and holds the office of Monarch and the full powers of the Throne.
