  1. The purpose of this Act is to authorise future changes to the Line of Succession to be made by the Senate with the consent of the Monarch.

  2. In accordance with Article IV, Section C, Paragraph F of the Austenasian Constitution of 2011, Parliament has ultimate control over the Line of Succession to the Throne. By the passage and under the provisions of Paragraph 3 of this same Act, Parliament hereby authorises the Senate to make any subsequent changes to the composition of the Line of Succession.

  3. The Senate may, to add or remove an individual or individuals from the Line of Succession to the Throne or to rearrange its order, pass a Senatorial Resolution to that effect which must be approved by the Monarch to enter into force.

  4. A Senatorial Resolution is passed by a majority vote of Senators, with the Princeps Senatus able to cast a deciding vote in the case of a tie and being responsible for the promulgation of the resolution.
