Crown property is land under the personal ownership of the Monarch, overseen by one or more Crown Stewards, appointed by the Monarch.
The Monarch is automatically Crown Steward of all Crown property.
No person who is not either in the Imperial Family or a Lord/Lady Imperial may enter Crown property without the permission of one of its Crown Stewards – doing so is the crime of trespassing.
State property is land under frequent use by one of the Government Ministries or by Parliament which has been designated as State property by the Secretary General (with the Prime Minister’s approval).
State property is overseen by a Steward, appointed by the Prime Minister with the Monarch’s approval.
The Steward of State property is the Representative who runs the Government Ministry which uses that land – in the case that the land is used by Parliament, then the Steward will be the Secretary General.
In regards to Paragraph A of this law, if the Monarch does not give his/her approval to a Steward, then the Prime Minister will become the Steward instead.
No person who has not been given clearance by the Steward to enter a particular State property may enter that State property without the permission of the Steward, Prime Minister or Monarch – doing so is the crime of trespassing.
Private property is land which is not already Crown or State property and is owned by an individual or organisation. The owner of the property decides who may and may not enter private property – entering without the owner’s permission is the crime of trespassing, unless allowed entry by a person who the owner has entrusted with that responsibility. Police officers may enter private property, if they have been authorised by an Inspector, in accordance with Act 49, Law 9 – that is not trespass.
Public property is land which is not already Crown, State or private property and not owned by any person or organisation.
If a building is built on public property, it becomes private property under the ownership of the person inhabiting or the organisation using it.
Any person may enter public property.
Public property will be overseen by a Sheriff, appointed by the Representative of the Town which the public property is in. The Sheriff of a public property must give his/her permission before a public venue opens on the land, and will be the one to officially open it.
The Imperial Residence and 2 Imperial Lane are hereby Crown property. The Crown Steward(s) of them will be known as the Crown Steward of Imperial Wrythe.
Wrythe Public Park and Glencrannog are hereby public property.
South Kilttown is hereby private property.
