The Empire of Austenasia hereby recognises the Grand Duchy of Westarctica as a sovereign state. [This law has been changed – see Act 74, Law 5]
Austenasia hereby recognises the Grand Duchy of Westarctica’s sovereignty over all land that they claim in Antarctica, except that which is claimed by Flandrensis and any member states of the United Nations. In that case, Austenasia recognises their sovereignty and not that of Westarctica. [This law has been changed – see Act 74, Law 5]
Austenasia recognises the following claims by member states of the United Nations over areas of Antarctica:
The claim of the United Kingdom over 60°S-90°S, 20°W-80°W.
The claim of France over 60°S-90°S, 142°2’E-136°11’E.
The claim of New Zealand over 60°S-90°S, 150°W-160°E.
The claim of Australia over 60°S-90°S, 160°E-142°2’E and 60°S-90°S, 136°11’E-44°38’E.
The claim of Norway over 60°S-90°S, 44°38’E-20°W.
