All subjects of all towns in the Empire of Austenasia are hereby required to pay the sum of £1 every month to a tax collector formally appointed by the Member of Cabinet of that town.
The money will go towards the upkeep of the Empire, and the Prime Minister and the Emperor must agree on what it is spent on. [This law has been changed – see Act 15, Law 2]
