The Ministry of Defence will direct and fund the Austenasian Imperial Marine Corps, which will be led by the Admiral of the Fleet.

The purpose of the Austenasian Imperial Marine Corps is to be the marine corps, amphibious infantry, and special operations troops of the Austenasian Armed Forces.

As the Monarch still retains the title Grand Admiral of the Imperial Navy, the Monarch will be the ceremonial head of the Austenasian Imperial Marine Corps.

Recruits to the Austenasian Imperial Marine Corps (as well as fulfilling the other requirements to join the Austenasian Armed Forces) must satisfactorily complete a training course as agreed upon by the Grand Admiral of the Imperial Navy and the Admiral of the Fleet.

The Admiral of the Fleet has absolute command over the Austenasian Imperial Marine Corps, and is free to structure the AIMC however he/she wishes, including the rank hierarchy.

The Admiral of the Fleet will be chosen by the Monarch, Prime Minister and Minister of Defence every three years on Independence Day, starting on Independence Day 2011.

The first Admiral of the Fleet will be Colonel Jack Sheridan, henceforth known as Admiral Colonel Jack Sheridan.
