Austenasia and the Kingdom of Wyvern first interacted in 2010, with an initially tense informal relationship that nonetheless saw the two states co-operate during moments such as the Yablokogate crisis. They officially established mutual recognition on 27 January 2014, and a treaty further cementing their friendship – including Austenasian recognition of the Holy Roman Empire – was signed on 21 September 2016.
Relations continued to improve, culminating in a formal treaty of alliance signed on 28 May 2021, making Wyvern one of Austenasia’s oldest and closest diplomatic partners. Both nations are members of the GUM and the UAMW.
