Austenasia and the Imperial Grand Duchy of Lundenwic officially entered mutual recognition on 14 August 2021, signing a treaty at a meeting in London. The two nations had held strong informal relations for years beforehand: Lundenwic’s Prime Minister, Lord Mike Lewis, visited Wrythe as a tourist in 2016 and joined Austenasia’s tenth-anniversary celebrations in 2018, and has met Emperor Jonathan I at several international summits.
