In a declaration issued on Sunday 22nd, Lord Ștefan-Marius Snagoveanu, Governor of Prahova, has reaffirmed his loyalty to the Empire of Austenasia following claims that he was following disgraced former PM Andrew Musgrave into seccession.

In the declaration, Lord Snagoveanu clarifies that Prahova “affirms its loyalty to the Empire of
Austenasia as the legitimate and just authority representing Austenasian governance”.

This follows a previous declaration made on June 13th in which Lord Snagoveanu had announced support for the so-called “Commonwealth of Austenasia,” formed by Musgrave in an attempt to create a rival government-in-exile.

Snagoveanu had swiftly apologised for this declaration on June 15th, and was granted amnesty.

It has since transpired that he had been persuaded to declare support for Musgrave this on the basis of false information supplied to him by the latter, who had accused others of demoting him from the MicroWiki admin team (a decision and action which had in fact been made by Musgrave himself).

Sunday’s declaration by the Governor explicitly revokes his former announcement, and reaffirms his loyalty to the Austenasian government.
