Austenasia to compete in 2026 MOF Games

Team Austenasia is set to compete in the 2026 Micronational Olympic Federation eSports games this Saturday, in what’s poised to be the biggest online micronational sporting event in history.

Hosted by the Unitary Republic of Curnon, the latest edition of the MOF Games boasts 86 participant nations and 139 cyletes, smashing current records of virtual sporting events by a fair margin. The event sees the presence of large teams, the size of which has not been since since Randouler-era MOF events held during the early COVID-19 Pandemic. The tournament features 13 events, namely: Battleship, 8-Ball Pool, Draughts, Chess, Coin Flipping, Gomoku, Rock Paper Scissors, Noughts and Crosses, Uno, Fruit Ninja, Pacman, Undertale Sans Boss Fight, and National Pride.

This is the third competition that Team Austenasia has entered, following it’s debut at the Knuffeldierland-hosted 2025 MOF Remote Games, and it’s victorious triumph at the Austenasia-hosted 2025 MOF Intermediate Games. The Intergames lineup returns, with Laird O’Halloran of Blue Ridge, Lord Valentinus of Bōsford and Dilly M. Johnson returning to the fray to bring the Empire glory in this hotly contested event.

Austenasia stands to potentially win 8 medals, with the Austenasian trio between them competing in Pacman, National Pride, 8-Ball, Chess, Rock Paper Scissors, Gomoku, and Noughts & Crosses.

The first scheduled matches are as follows:

  • 8-Ball: Dilly M. Johnson (AUS) v Theodoros (Quackers Kingdom)
  • Coin Flip: Sertor Valentinus (AUS) v Gruyère (Erland)
  • Chess: Addison O’Halloran (AUS) v Brando Pernico (Landopia)
