Urabbaparcensia scores a gold in the Rock Paper Scissors final in the Austenasia InterGames, with Danny Racovolis thundering up the brackets victory-by-victory.
Despite starting off in a low ‘handicap bracket’ due to odd numbering of contestants, Racovolis decisively demolished opponent after opponent in the race for good, thrashing Ladonia 3–1, Firburg 3–0, Tymbarc 3–1, Curnon 3–1.. and finally defeating Ayumar’s Aobaom 3–0 in the final.
The Austenasian Times has reached out to the two finalists for comment, and thoughts on the tense tournament.
“I couldn’t help but feel quite disappointed about losing the final match, but the AUS25 RPS was quite the experience which I enjoyed greatly” — Aobaom I, RPS Silver Medalist for Ayumar
“I dedicate my win to the emergency services fighting bushfires in areas I drive to up to New Eurabba and hope everybody is safe. I’d also like to thank all the competitors I have met from all over the world and look forward to continuing my winning streak in the upcoming eSports Games” — Danny Racovolis, RPS Gold Medalist for Urabbaparcensia
The third place match concluded today between Curnon’s Asa Ward, and Medoles’s ‘Bkrazy’, with Cylete from Medoles securing a swift clean sweep of 3–0 to secure a bronze medal.
Further events are scheduled to near completion over the coming two weeks, as the Chess, Draughts and Noughts and Crosses competition reach their end.
