# Palasia

Modern Palasia is the successor to the Kingdom of Palasia and Iceni, itself formed from a merger of the former Austenasian Town of Palasia and the Iceni Social Imperium. Austenasia signed a treaty of mutual recognition with the Iceni Social Imperium on 3 December 2018, while it was still known as Sakasaria; Iceni was led at the time by Lord John Gordon, a long-standing Austenasian politician who also served as Representative of Palasia.
