The Foreign Office has been busy within the last few weeks, engaging in a number of exciting new endeavours that we are pleased to share.
Chief Ambassador Lord Valentinus has appointed Aidan McGrath as Austenasia’s new Ambassador to Canada, as part of an ongoing multi-prong endeavour to expand the nation’s footprint internationally. The office was previously held by the former Duke of New Virginia, Lord Rear Admiral Evan Keller until 2017, with the office remaining vacant since. McGrath stated that he intends to “look after Austenasian interests” and “make formal contact with [his] constituencies MP’s” as part of his new role.
Likewise, the Foreign Office has opened applications for several new postings in the United States to aid the American Ambassador in their work to represent Austenasia within the country. Most notably is the opening for a Consul-General to Louisiana, which was recently vacated following the resignation of Andrew Perdomo in December. Other openings include similar consulate postings in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Wyoming.

Lord Valentinus is presently working on a revised Foreign Policy code to guide diplomacy and intermicronational relations heading into the Summer. There will be a further announcement on this matter in the Times.. and it is an exciting one. All we can say for now is to keep your eyes peeled on the 18th of March.
That is all the latest scoop from the Foreign Office for now, but we’ll have more exciting updates for your next week.
Update 16/3/26: A section of the article concerning the Foreign Office endeavours in the Middle East and South Asia has been removed as a safety precaution due to regional tensions, owing to both the recent Iran War, and concerns from the South Asian micronational community due to current attitudes to micronationalists in the region.
