The local government of the Town of Etchemin-on-Kennebec has met just prior to a snowstorm about to hit the town, amid the 2026 US Blizzard, to discuss several matters of policy.

Announced in the Austenasian discord server by Deputy Prime Minister and Etchemin-on-Kennebec representative Lord Green, the policies concern both the ongoing storm, and cultural affairs.

The town agreed to establish the Etchemin Observatory, to observe, release weather alerts and announce closures within the town as necessary.

In the spirit of Lord Green’s continuing success as the Vice-President of the Austenasian Olympic Committee, Etchemin-on-Kennebec will be establishing the Kennebec Sporting League, managing and organising locally organised simulated football and lacrosse tournaments, known as the Riverside Cup and the Mountain View Cup respectively.

Finally, the Saint Thérèse of Liseux Parish will be established under the recent revitalised Holy Austenasian Church, which saw a new lease of life within the Austenasian Nations after Emperor Alexander anointed Pontifex Maximus Alexandra IV upon his coronation last September.
