
Yesterday saw the annual celebration of Independence Day, this year marking the seventeenth anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2008.
Independence Day falls on the third Saturday of September. This year, it also aligned with the actual anniversary, namely September 20th.
To mark the day, Emperor Aggelos I published an honours list, as is customary for the occasion.
The list honours those “individuals who have helped in the creative course of our empire in the last year”, including both politicians who have taken part in government as well as foreign nationals who have displayed friendship to the Empire and its people:
- Laird Addison O’Halloran – Knight of Honour in the Glorious Order of St. John
- Lord Otto Green – Knight of Virtue in the Glorious Order of St. John
- Lord Sander Koff – Knight of Virtue in the Glorious Order of St. John
- Sir Hugh McFarlane – Knight of the Order of the Bullmastiff
- Lord Karl Friedrich – Knight of the Order of the Bullmastiff
- Lord Michael Simpson – Imperial Knight of the Austenasian Order
- Lord Sertor Valentinus – Knight Commander of the Austenasian Order
- Count Chris Ramsay – Commander of the Austenasian Order
- Lord Zabelle Skye – Commander of the Austenasian Order
- Sir Kuri Kabanov – Officer of the Austenasian Order
- Horeidosha – Member of the Austenasian Order
- Johannes of Slitronia – Member of the Austenasian Order
- Jonathan Freeman – Member of the Austenasian Order
- Matthew of Liahonia – Member of the Austenasian Order
